Starforged
Sentient automations created by a long gone species, forged from the power of the stars. Most Starforged remain in the Star Forged Serene Republic.
Physiology
Starforged are identified by their synthetic bodies, typically singular Holo-eye and their Light Core.
Chrome Dome
Since Starforged are made of metals, they are naturally more resistant to physical damage than 'ganics. However for the same reasons, they are susceptible to Lightning damage. You always have Pierce and Slash Status Tokens#Resistance 1 and Lightning Status Tokens#Resistance -2.
Innate Scanners
Starforged have better vision and processing than other Races due to their synthetic origin. +2 Attributes#Ingenuity and +6 Skills#Investigation.
Light Cores
In order to access the Song, and to be sentient, Starforged need their Light Cores which effectively act as their souls. However, due to their synthetic nature they are less efficient at attuning their Spirituality. -1 Attributes#Spirituality
Purpose
Starforged were built as modifiable synths since their inception. Therefore, of all beings in the galaxy, they are the most suited to Implant integration. +10 IP. Starforged can bypass their Eye and Arm Slot limits at the cost of: Extra Eye Implants gaining an extra +2 IP cost per extra Implant, Extra Arm Implants having to be stored and swapped to for 1 Maneuver.

Serene Scientists
Starforged as a culture, choose to avoid intergalactic conflict and instead look internally. Especially their Highborn scientists who prioritize the studies over direct combat.
