Proficiencies
**Proficiencies represent the training in certain types of Gear of a Starlite. Proficiencies have levels which increase the effectiveness and potential options of the Proficiency.
Martial Proficiencies
Duelist Blades
Quick, lightweight melee weapons with multiple hits in an attack being common amongst its abilities. All weapons of this class can use Dexterity as replacement for Strength in Clash Power calculation. Weapons belonging to this class include Cutting, Thrusting and Skirmisher Blades.
Marine Melees
High impact melee weapons that possess more opportunities to inflict Negative Internal Tokens or synergy with Offhand Weapons. These are the only melee weapon class to have Overpower Martial Abilities. Weapons belonging to this class include Poleheads, Brutal Blades and Greatswords.
Hunter Melees
Staff based weapons with a unique Stalwart Stance extending attack range to 2 tiles. Weapons belonging to this class include Spears, Staffs and Halberds
Auxiliary Arts
Unarmed techniques or body enhancing weapons which possess the widest array of Martial Types.
Backup Melees
Small melee weapons with overlap in other weapon types. Weapons of this category can be used with the overlapping Proficiency.
Ranged Proficiencies
Sidearms
Small sized firearms with lower attacks per ability on average. Sidearms have the Off Hand trait allowing them to be paired with other weapons in some situations. Weapons belonging to this class include Pistols, Hand Cannons and Compact Shotguns.
Marksman
Medium sized ranged weapons with best accuracy and crit chance on average. Weapons belonging to this class include Bows, Sniper Rifles and Marksman Rifles
Suppressor
Ranged weapons with good crowd control options requiring certain values of Strength to use. Weapons belonging to this class include Hunting Shotguns, Light Machine Guns.
Assault
Offensive close to mid range ranged weapons. Ranger Abilities often contain methods to attack entrenched and CQC positions. Weapons belonging to this class include Assault Rifles, PDWs, Breacher Shotguns
Special
Unique ranged weapons featuring a wide distribution of roles. Special Weapons often have skill requirements, like Engineering or Academics. **
Tool Proficiencies
Roguish Tools
Tools used for traversal or infiltration such as Lockpicks or Climbing Gear
Medical Tools
Tools used to heal various injuries and ailments such as Bandages or Med-Kits
Engineering Tools
Tools used to control and interface with machines such as cars, drones or terminals.
Espionage Tools
Tools specialised for bypassing defenses and general espionage.
Recreational Tools
Tools used to restore morale or assist social ACs.
Ordinance Tools
Tools which setup damage and displacement like: mines, C4 and Mortars
